01 Merchant Enrollment & KYC Verification
This Seller Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between Uniself and the registered entity or individual ("Merchant", "Seller", or "Publisher"). To list books, zines, or magazines on Uniself:
- Merchants must submit genuine KYC documentation (Business Registration Certificate, GSTIN, PAN card, and verified Bank Account).
- All merchant accounts are manually reviewed and approved by the Uniself Admin team prior to catalog publishing.
- Merchants must maintain updated warehouse storage addresses and emergency dispatch contact details.
02 Catalog & Listing Quality Standards
To uphold our literary curation and marketplace integrity, all uploaded listings must satisfy the following criteria:
- Accurate Metadata: Valid ISBN/ISSN (when applicable), edition year, binding type (Hardcover/Paperback), author attribution, and publisher notes.
- High-Resolution Artworks: Clean book cover images without heavy watermarks or misleading promotional stickers.
- Stock Accuracy: Real-time inventory sync. Sellers must immediately mark out-of-stock items as inactive.
03 Dispatch SLA & Fulfillment Obligations
Sellers are obligated to pack and hand over confirmed orders to assigned courier logistics partners within 24 to 48 hours of order placement.
Books must be safely encased in weather-resistant bubble wrap or corrugated book-mailers to avoid spine damage, corner creases, or moisture during transit.
04 Platform Fees, Commissions & Settlements
Uniself operates with a transparent publisher-first settlement model:

Payouts are transferred directly via NEFT/RTGS to the verified merchant bank account on record with detailed transaction remittance summaries.
05 Returns, RTO & Dispute Handling
In cases where a customer receives an incorrect, defective, or transit-damaged item, the merchant agrees to honor Uniself's 7-day replacement/refund guarantee. Return shipping costs resulting from merchant fulfillment mistakes (e.g. wrong book edition shipped) shall be debited from the merchant's settlement ledger.
06 Authenticity & Piracy Zero-Tolerance
Uniself strictly prohibits counterfeit prints, unauthorized photocopies, pirated scans, or plagiarized works. Any merchant caught listing counterfeit books will face immediate catalog takedown, indefinite account freezing, forfeiture of pending payout balances, and formal reporting to relevant intellectual property authorities.
07 Suspension & Account Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days prior written notice. Uniself reserves the right to immediately suspend or revoke merchant privileges in the event of persistent dispatch delays, excessive customer complaint rates (>3%), or fraud attempts.
